This South African tourism company is fully committed to making a positive change in society, with all the profits from its expert guided tours going to youth charity. This local partner is called Township Roots, a Cape Town charity initiative that children and teenagers from marginalised and impoverished communities realise the importance of education.
Indulge in trips that take you through the marvels of the Western Cape, from the gorgeous vistas of the Cape Winelands to the coastal havens of Simon’s Town, Boulders Beach and the Cape of Good Hope, all of which are found along the Peninsula. Golf tours see guests touchdown in the peaceful settings of Knysna and George, both gems hidden away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Tailored holidays can be arranged, while hiking tours operate in Franschoek, the Cederberg and, of course, Table Mountain, amongst many others.
Township Roots is a registered NPO, working with youths from Nyanga and Philippi. It encourages children to receive motivation from after school activities and seeks to guide them on a path to further their school and potential university studies. Through this raised awareness, they aim to reduce dropout rates and make learning fun.
