Haute Cabriere Restaurant
Amongst the sweeping green valleys and rolling hills of the picturesque Franschhoek Valley lies the Haute Cabriere Restaurant. Beneath its soaring arches and twinkling chandeliers, diners sit with views over the Pinot Noir Barrel Maturation Cellar.
Artwork by cellar master and founder Achim von Arnim adorns the walls while a terrace boasts some of the most incredible views of the region. Attempting to create a beautiful marriage between food and wine, the menu under head chef Ryan Shell is dedicated to incorporating the many special vintages of the area. Full and half portions are available, with guests being encouraged to sample and taste.
This Cape Winelands restaurant strives to follow a philosophy of sourcing local, seasonal and fresh produce with some ingredients even being grown on the farm itself. Most wines are served by both the bottle and the glass, with the wine menu dominated by the ranges of Haute Cabriere and Pierre Jourdan Cap Classiques.
