Cape West Coast Biosphere Reserve Company
The aim of the Cape West Coast Biosphere Reserve Company is to maintain and protect this special piece of South African landscape. The biosphere is a home to stunning landscapes, an abundance of fauna and flora species, and a very special South African culture. Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of trails for cycling and hiking, as well as a canoe trail. The biosphere also offers prime whale watching spots that are less crowded than other more popular sites.
Your visit to the Cape West Coast Biosphere would not only be a wonderful experience while in Cape Town, but would also contribute to the local economy.
In addition to local businesses and restaurants, the Cape West Coast Biosphere Reserve Company also helps conservation projects for the Honey Badger, a range of vegetation and natural history, and a number of threatened species including the Cape Rain Frog, Black Harrier and Heavyside Dolphin.
