Bombay Brasserie at the Taj Cape Town
The Bombay Brasserie treats its guests to only the finest in Indian dining, with beautifully prepared meals made from fresh, traditional ingredients. The restaurant is located in Cape Town city centre on the buzzing Wale Street, but it’s actually been modeled on its namesake, the original Bombay Brasserie in London.
There is an à la carte menu or a seven-course tasting menu, depending on your style. Both bring delicious curries and predominantly North Indian dishes to the table, with refined ingredients and elements such as saffron sauce making the culinary experience all the more enjoyable. Though a meal here doesn’t come too cheap, it’s well worth every penny.
Don’t be put off by the fact that the Bombay Brasserie is located inside a hotel, this restaurant surpasses more than enough standards to be a feature on its own. Staff are known for being hands-on and interactive with guests, so you can look forward to exceptional and friendly service.
