Aquamarine Guesthouse is a B&B set amidst the grand backdrop of the Outeniqua Mountains that rise behind Mossel Bay. The town is a popular tourist destination on the beautiful Garden Route, named so because of its rich and diverse vegetation.
The guesthouse is a 10-minute walk to Santos Beach, a Blue Flag beach which is a hotspot for paddle-skiers, surfers, divers and other watersports enthusiasts. Between May and October, southern right whales make their home in the bay and their great bulks are clearly visible from the shoreline. Visit Pinnacle Point, a cave site occupied by humans between 170,000 and 40,000 years ago, or journey on to Knysna, the quiet lagoon town with its warm waters and world-class golf course.
Modern elegance is a priority at the guesthouse, with each room containing flat screen TV’s, queen-size beds, Wi-Fi and en suite bathrooms with both a bath and a rain-shower. For its efforts in conservation, Aquamarine won the Eco-Tourism category at the Mossel Bay Environmental Awards 2013.
