Tickets sold out for the Cape Town Stadium Soccer Festival

Hosted by the City of Cape Town, all 20 000 tickets have been sold out for the Cape Town Stadium Soccer Festival on January 23 as fans gear up for the local Derby between Santos and Ajax Cape Town (16h00 kickoff).

It will be a day of fun and celebration at the brand new, R4.5-billion Cape Town Stadium as Mother City residents get their first glimpse of the inside of the multi-purpose sports complex in an event, organised by Stadium Operators SAIL STADEFRANCE and sponsored by Virgin Active Health Clubs and MTN.

“Virgin Active sees this partnership opportunity as the first step to a continued and integral part of the Cape Town Stadium going forward. And aside from the main feature of the Cape Derby between Santos and Ajax Cape Town, there will also be a live performance from South African Afro-Fusion band Freshlyground, a display from the Vuvuzela Orchestra and the official blessing of the field and stadium opening.

The City of Cape Town will also be provide a FREE shuttle service from the Civic Centre in Hertzog Boulevard to the stadium and back, and all you need to do to use the facility is present your match tickets.
