Located opposite the giant strawberry on the R44, between Somerset West and Stellenbosch, the ROOT44 market is housed in a marquee, making sure you never miss out even when the weather’s not playing along. What started as a monthly market has now become a popular hang-out spot every Sunday from 10h00 – 15h00. Blaauwklippen Family Market has a wide variety of stalls with fresh produce, homemade products and crafts and plants on display. A jungle gym and various other kids’ activities keeps the little ones entertained while the adults relax under the trees, sipping on some wine.
