Cape Town Tourism Board to Assist New Tourism Businesses

Cape Town Tourism’s board took a collective decision to forfeit their small monthly remuneration towards a fund (topped up by Cape Town Tourism) that will assist Historically Disadvantaged Individuals (HDI’s) with support to grow their tourism businesses.
Two HDI SMME’s who meet the criteria will be selected and allocated R50 000 each in support of their businesses’ growth. Additional non-financial support will also be given in the form of a complimentary Cape Town Tourism membership, mentorship by board members, training and marketing involvement that will be valid for the period 1 December 2013 to 31 August 2014.
Cape Town Tourism is calling for suitable businesses to submit their proposal to Cape Town Tourism’s head office (Corner Castle and Burg Streets, Cape Town City Centre) by 15 November 2013 at 12h00 (noon).
