Global heavyweights join International Seminar of Creativity
The Loeries is pleased to announce Keith Weed, chief marketing and communications officer of Unilever and John O’Keeffe, worldwide creative director of WPP, as the final two speakers for the International Seminar of Creativity, which takes place this Friday September 21 at Cape Town’s City Hall.
These renowned industry leaders will join James Hurman, author of The Case for Creativity, in a Google Hangout panel discussion, which will be moderated by Julie Maunder – the founder of SA’s fast-growing creative portfolio hub, www.ididthatad.com.

In 2008, The Loerie Awards recognised the need for a grassroots programme to aid transformation in South Africa’s brand communication industry. Since the opportunity to complete a tertiary level education can be restricted by financial means, the Loeries initiated the Creative Future Scholarship to invest in our country’s future creative professionals. This year, the scholarship will be awarded to a Grade 12 learner in the Western Cape to study at the AAA School of Advertising in Cape Town.
