After an extensive and competitive recruitment process, the new CEO of Cape Town Tourism has been announced as Enver Duminy.
The appointment was announced at the City of Cape Town’s Tourism, Events and Marketing Portfolio Committee meeting today and will take effect on 1 August 2013.
Cape Town Tourism has been announced as a winner of this year’s annual Travel + Leisure SMITTY Awards (Social Media in Travel + Tourism Awards) in the category Best Overall Use of Social Media, CVB, Global. The announcement was made in New York today.Read more

Cape Town will be represented at Indaba by a collective of key tourism players from the region, led by The City of Cape Town. After nine years as CEO of Cape Town Tourism, Mariette du Toit-Helmbold has announced that she has decided not to renew her contract with the tourism organisation for another term.
