My Cape Town is a month-long celebration of being proudly Capetonian. With plenty of ticket and voucher giveaways for the best attractions in town, including the City Sightseeing Bus, Table Mountain Cableway, Cape Point, V&A Waterfront and more, it gives Capetonians the opportunity to enjoy their hometown like never before.
Get a bird’s eye view of the Cape from on top of Table Mountain, enjoy a musical or comedy show at the Artscape or Baxter theatres, get your creative juices flowing at The Fringe, shop tilll you drop at the V&A Waterfront or indulge your love for art at the Iziko South African National Gallery. Whatever you do, do it passionately in Cape Town!

Capture My Cape Town Competition

As part of the My Cape Town celebrations, Cape Town Tourism hosts its popular Capture Your Cape Town photo competition.
2011 saw a record number of entires. From sunsets to people, Table Mountain to the blue water and white sand of Blaauwberg beach, the photo entry finalists were all magnets for viewers votes – showing that Cape Town’s landscape is truly inspiring. Every photo submitted was testament to how much the city is loved.
