Cape Town Tourism - Table Mountain

Services Update – February 2014

Marketing Services Update:

February saw the Marketing team focus on design, food and wine. The theme for March has focused on family in the run-up to the school holidays and Easter weekend.

We have created some great information documents on the wealth of food and wine offerings in Cape Town across the spectrum. If you want to inspire your guests, please click here or email to receive and use the food and wine related information.

After attending the SAT India Roadshow we co-hosted 28 Indian Travel tour operators with South African Tourism in February. We have also created beautiful and informative travel trade collateral aimed at the German and Indian markets, matching relevant member products to specific market needs, in addition to highlighting new and unique activities in Cape Town.

These are also great tools for your destinations if you find that you have a lot of German and/or Indian visitors.
Please click here to download the German market related information from our Toolkit Area.

Good news is that we have now also printed the Cape Town City Map in German, which will be distributed at ITB and at relevant VIC’s across Cape Town.  A map in Mandarin will also be produced and will be available later this year.

The big focus going forward is on our winter campaign, so watch out for our newsflashes that will let you know how you can get involved.

Some very exciting news is that we are launching our innovative Mobile VIC Vehicle at WTM Africa on 2 May 2014. After the launch, the mobile visitor vehicle will be introduced to regional partners and domestic and international visitors as part of a road trip around the Western Cape. More information will follow soon, so watch this space.
