Cape Town Tourism and FEDHASA JAMMS at Table Bay Hotel
Cape Town Tourism and FEDHASA hosted the first JAMMS (Joint Association Members Meeting Sessions) event of 2013 at the Table Bay Hotel at the V&A Waterfront on Tuesday 23 April, 2013.
Keynote speakers included Minister Alan Winde, MEC for Economic Development, Finance and Tourism for the Western Cape; Mariette du Toit-Helmbold, CEO of Cape Town Tourism and Richard Perez, Director: World Design Capital 2014 for the City of Cape Town.
Minister Winde addressed the event’s topic “Am I legal?” by examining how the province would make it possible for new entrants to become legal, the province’s program to eliminate red tape and how his department would deal with illegal operators.
Mr Perez took the audience through the proposed plans for World Design Capital 2014 with this presentation.
Cape Town Tourism, FEDHASA Cape, SAACI Western Cape and SATSA Western Cape joined forces in 2007 to bring members of all four organizations quality speakers, exciting visuals, the latest information and a platform to air your trade specific questions, concerns and ideas. This strategic partnership is called JAMMS: Joint Association Members Meeting Sessions.
The next JAMMS event will be held in August 2013.
