Indaba - one of the largest tourism marketing events on the African calendar - is taking place at the Albert Luthuli Convention Centre (ICC) in Durban for three days from 10-12 May 2014.
This trade event attracts over 13,000 delegates from travel and tourism related industries presenting an opportunity to showcase Cape Town’s tourism offering and to promote year-round business with local and international trade.
Cape Town Tourism has secured prime space on the Wesgro stand in the DEC Hall and we are offering our members two key opportunities to join us on this excellent platform.
The highlights of the month were the Cape Town Tourism team winning an international SMITTY Award (Travel & Leisure) for the best use of social media in the Global category, and Ogily & Mather winning a Cannes Lions Gold Award in the Branded Content Category – both for our “Send your Facebook profile to Cape Town” campaign, which we are immensely proud of.Read more
January 2013 was the best month that we have ever experienced in terms of website traffic with almost 100 000 unique visitors to our website. The only previous month where we have achieved higher traffic was June 2010. This is a result of a more focused content strategy which involves updating content more regularly across all our platforms.Read more
