In August 2012, Cape Town Tourism hosted four top international bloggers as Cape Town iAmbassadors. The campaign, called #LoveCapeTown, connected the millions of readers who follow the highly respected bloggers and reached more than a million unique users last year. #LoveCapeTown appeared in twitter users’ timelines 34 million times and the campaign crossed over into blogs, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest successfully.

Tourism Services Update – May 2013

The number of over-the-counter interactions during May 2013 shows an 11% decrease from April 2013, and year-on-year showed a decrease of 5% in visitor interactions in the VICs. A total of 19 536 over-the-counter interactions were recorded, of which 8 386 were within the CTT-managed VICs.

Coffee & Connect comes to you

We hosted a series of very successful Coffee & Connect sessions at our Burg Street Visitor Information Centre during May and June, where over 80 members got to connect with each other and the Cape Town Tourism team. Members could opt to book a table to present their products or simply join us for coffee and a chat.
