Accreditation and affiliation
Exclusive to members, you can use our Cape Town Tourism member logo, which shows that you are affiliated to and accredited by Cape Town Tourism, on all your activities to support your brand.

Online opportunities
Inclusion of your business information in the internal Cape Town Tourism database. This is the source for information, referrals and reservations by all Cape Town Tourism team members. Approximately 150 000 enquiries are attended to each month.

Listing of all accommodation, tour operator, tourist guide, conference venue, conference organiser and preferred supplier members on the official Cape Town website, www.capetown.travel. This site receives over 60 000 unique visitors per month.

Promotion of visitor and business-related special offers online.

Listing of all tourism business members on the provincial website of Cape Town Routes Unlimited, www.tourismcapetown.co.za.

Listing all tourism business members on the digital media platform touch-screen units available at all Visitor Information Centres (VICs) and at key locations across the city and beyond.

Marketing opportunities

Marketing and business support
This includes assistance with accreditation according to minimum requirements, applications for tourism road signage and guidance for emerging entrepreneurs. Members can request copies of official marketing and visitor material, including the official Cape Town Visitors’ Guide and maps.

Press and familiarisation trips
As a member you will have the opportunity to co-host or get involved in Cape Town Tourism’s Guest and Media Relations programme.

Market intelligence
Access to the latest visitor economy statistics, including monthly trends and attraction monitoring.

Events, networking and communication

We have a presence at leading trade and consumer events both in South Africa and overseas. Members can get involved at a fraction of the cost of exhibiting at these shows solo, either by joining us on the stand or by distributing your marketing material.
