One hour can make a difference!

image

Cape Town Tourism Team South would like invite all Cape Town Tourism members to participate in this global event.

Earth Hour 2009 has one major aim: to unite the citizens of the world in the fight against climate change in order to convince governments and world leaders that our planet cannot wait any longer. There simply isn’t enough time, and 2009 is therefore a colossally important year to take action on climate change. 2009 is the year we decide the future of our planet.

Tourist accommodation
Saturday 28 March 2009
Lights off from 20h30 to 21h30

We encourage you to send your guests out to dinner to restaurants who are “Earth Hour friendly” to be part of this global event and to enjoy a moment of true candle-lit dining.

If your guests are staying in, why not gather them all together for that hour and enjoy each other’s company by candlelight? Swap stories over a glass of wine, play cards by candlelight or just relax and breathe while you do your bit for the planet.

Pledge your support by registering with www.earthhour.org.za or email coleen@capetown.travel.
