Our Place Restaurant, Durbanville and Unsolved Mysteries invite you to a night filled with slimy characters secrets, ‘skinner’ and sublime food on  Saturday 24 March 2012. The “Taking out the trailer trash” Murder Mystery draws inspiration from a range of politically incorrect South African stereotypes and well…Jack Parow!

The ‘setting’ for the murder mystery is a rundown Caravan and Camping Ground in Brooklyn, Cape Town. While City Officials had originally planned for it to be a holiday spot (what were they thinking?!), it is now home to some of Cape Town’s seediest and strangest individuals.

The murder: Long standing resident of the ‘Lekker Bly’ Caravan and Camping Ground, Koosie Pienaar, had invited some fellow residents (YOU included) to a Saturday afternoon braai at his ‘plot.’ Everyone arrived in good spirits (and with cheap spirits!) and soon the braai was going, Klipdrift being consumed and the dominoes creating havoc on the small Formica table they’re being banged against.

Just before the food was ready, Koosie went to wash his hands by the tap next to the trash cans, but didn’t return… When a few of the guests went off to check on him, they found him face down in one of the big black bins…dead! He’d been poisoned and now it’s up to the remaining guests, who are all suspects (YOU included), to figure out ‘whodunit!’

Expect seriously stereotypical South African characters thrown together in a melting pot of boerewors charm and Chakalaka flavoured humour, as suspects become “ace detectives” in an effort to stay out of Polsmoor Correctional Facility.
Come dressed to kill – trashy!
