Boland Walking Holidays
A Walking Holiday on gravel roads and foot paths through the Boland. The historic towns seem to be outside Africa. With gracious homesteads as well as orchards and vineyards heavy with fruit, this loosely defined region is also referred to as the Winelands. It comprises mainly of the middle reaches of the Berg and Breederiver valleys - from Paarl and Wellington to Tulbagh in the north, Francshoek and Stellenbosch in the south.
This is a walking holiday offers the tourist a unique experience of the Boland, with freedom to explore the picturesque towns we pass through, and still have enough exercise to ‘work off’ the tastings and other holiday treats!
