Booking service

Cape Town Tourism offers a central information and reservation service at a charge of 11% commission to the product owner for all bookings and referrals made by Cape Town Tourism, online, or by phone, fax, or email, or for walk-in visitors.

Please read the section on bookings in the FAQ section for full details of the process. If you would like to discuss bookings please contact your Local Area Manager at any of the hub offices.

We rely on information from our members to provide an excellent information and reservation service. If we do not have the full details of your establishment on our internal database, we are not able to send you relevant referrals and bookings. Make sure that your information is up to date by contacting your Local Membership Administrator or email membership@capetown.travel. There is no cost to update your information.

Introduce your business to Team Cape Town Tourism

Cape Town Tourism is only as good as the products and experiences we represent and introduce to visitors. We would very much like all Cape Town Tourism staff to meet members to find out more about the activities, establishments and services that visitors can experience and build strong, positive relationships. Our team relies on the information that is provided by members and what is stored on our central online database. We would like to give you the opportunity to meet us face to face and personally introduce your business to Team Cape Town Tourism. Please use the form below to book a 20-minute session to meet the team. You can also contact your Membership Administrator directly or our Membership Co-ordinator on 021 487 6800 or by email on membership@capetown.travel.

Educational outreach

We are committed to keeping our team knowledgeable and trained in your products and services so that they can share their knowledge with visitors and put them in touch with the remarkable experiences you offer. Our team relies on the information that you provide and first-hand experience of your product or service is essential to deliver service excellence and accurate information. If you would like to offer staff educationals, please use the form below to request this. We would appreciate at least two weeks’ notice. You can also contact our Membership Co-ordinator via email, on membership@capetown.travel.

We focus on educationals from June to September each year when we run our winter educational outreach programme. If you would like to be part of this programme, please use the form below to send your request to our Membership Co-ordinator before May 15 each year. There are limited spots available, so book early.
