International tourism to continue robust growth in 2013
On the back of December, that saw a solid month of tourism activity in Cape Town, the UNWTO has just released its World Tourism Barometer for 2012 and made predictions for travel during 2013. The issue of statistics remains a highly contested space in the tourism industry. Cape Town Tourism has consistently predicted slow but sustainable growth of around 4% for the destination. We expect a similar growth for 2013, with a specific emphasis on growth from the domestic market.
