We started our Flickr pic of the day feature on January 1, 2009 and over the course of the year have accumulated a staggering number of incredible photographs of Cape Town and her surroundings.

To thank our wonderful Flickr community and our Cape Town. Live it. Love it. group members, we are holding a competition where we ask you to choose the best pic of 2009.

Comment on your favourite photo and tell us why it is the best pic of 2009.

We’ll choose the best comment made, and the photo that garnered the most acclaim in the eyes of the judges, and give both commentator and photographer a digital photo frame!

Criteria

• You may comment on as many photos as you like, but the judges will be looking at the quality of the comments more than the quantity.
• The competition will close on January 31, 2010.
