Gosh, is it really the weekend again, already?!

Yes, friends, your 72 hours of non-stop fun awaits in the gorgeous Mother City and man, is there plenty to do see and do!

Quit your hibernating tendencies and come and enjoy these cool winter events with me from Friday 20 to Sunday 22 June, 2014 in #lovecapetown:

Jive Cape Town Funny Festival

It’s the FINAL weekend of the Mother City’s biggest and longest-running comedy show, the Jive Comedy Festival at the Baxter Theatre in Rondebosch and it’s going to be legendary!

Internationally renowned and locally born king of comedy Trevor Noah leads the multi-talented line-up which includes world-famous pickpocket Christian Lindemann; juggling Latin lothario, Mario - Queen of the Circus; home-grown comedians Carl Wastie and Schalk Bezuidenhout and more.
Laugh yourselves silly by booking your tickets at Computicket.

Cirque de la Symphonie

Light as feathers, double jointed and real easy on the eye… the aerial wunderbar artists of Cirque de la Symphonie are back in the Mother City for two nights only.

Come and marvel at their jaw-dropping antics at the Grand West Casino and Entertainment World’s Grand Arena. For these special performance, the magical circus (which includes contortionists, jugglers, aerial flyers, dancers and strongmen) has teamed up with the enchanting Cape own Philharmonic Orchestra to provide their charming background soundtrack.

Prepare to be amazed! Get all of the wonderful details at Computicket.

Bay Harbour Market

Like your entertainment with a sideshow of shopping? You’ll love the Bay Harbour Market in Hout Bay, with its 100 stalls and musical offerings.

Pop by for lunch (I recommend their seafood paella!) and stay for the sultry sounds of songbirds Toni Rowland and Genevieve.
