Your lovecapetown Weekend: Things to do from Friday 15 to Sunday 17 November, 2013
Fazielah Williams has lived in and loved her Mother City since birth. Having lived all over the Peninsula during her childhood, she now calls the picturesque City Bowl home and likes nothing more than watching the sun set over Table Bay from the window of her apartment.
A lover of the arts and proud Cape Town fanatic, Fazielah began her writing career by spending many hours as a child conjuring fantastical stories that featured independent heroines from faraway lands who saved the Prince instead. This Capetonian princess has enjoyed stints as a magical arts PRO and TV publicist before finding her calling as a travel writer.
When not waxing lyrical about the Fairest Cape’s most loved attractions and activities and embarking on unexpected adventures, Fazielah can usually be found taking in a show at one of the City’s fabulous theatres.
#lovecapetown, it’s my favourite weekend of the year! Why, you ask? Well, because, friends, it’s my birthday weekend and there is nowhere I’d rather spend it than in the fabulous Mother City.
Since I’m feeling the birthday love and eager to share my top things to do in our hometown, why not join me at the following events and activities from Friday 15 to Sunday 17 November. 2013:

The quiet town gets the full-on DJ royalty and live act shakeup with the likes of the incredible LuWayne Wonder, Ready D, Dr.Jules and more spinning the decks and comedians KG and Oliver Booth taking to the stage.
Grab your mates, pack your camping supplies and get ready to dance like there is no tomorrow with Clubbers’ Camp Out.

What’s sure to get me in a celebratory mood this weekend? Why, an evening spent laughing until my sides hurt with the hilarious boys at Jou Ma Se Comedy Club at the V&A Waterfront’s Pumphouse, of course!
The side-splitting line-up includes South Africa’s top ventriloquist Conrad Koch, comedian Paul Snodgrass and upand-comer Bradford Keen.
