So, Valentine’s Day may not be your thing but there is still plenty to see and do in our hometown to spread the love… from our wonder of nature’s colourful makeover to rocking out in the township, we want you to adore Cape Town!

Join me at the following events from Friday 14 to Sunday 16 February, 2014:

Table Mountain Lit Blue for International Childhood Cancer Day

Do you guys remember the Eiffel 65 song “I’m Blue”?

Well, this Saturday, our caring wonder of nature is rocking that song and the spirit of Responsible Tourism by being bathed in blue light in celebration of International Childhood Cancer Day.

Keep your eyes peels for the hueful change between 20h00 and 01h00, then donate some much-needed funds or volunteer hours to CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation.

If you’re a quick-fingered photographer, there are amazing prizes up for grabs for shutterbugs who capture the Mountain’s 50 shades of blue. For more info, visit their Facebook fanpage.

Breathe Sunshine African Music Conference & Unity Jam 2014

This weekend, come and shake what your mama gave ya with the groovy Breathe Sunshine African Music Conference & Unity Jam in Langa.

From workshops to exhibitions and live music acts, there is just so much to enjoy.
