From cycle tours around the Peninsula to artistic fairs and rocking wine festivals, there is plenty to see and do in our hometown.

Join me at the following events in and around the Mother City from Friday 7 to Sunday 9 March, 2014:

Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour 2014

It’s the world’s largest time cycling event and it’s coming to Cape Town’s sports-loving shores this Sunday – don’t miss the popular annual Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour!

Spectators, get ready to cheer for your friends and family as they race against the clock along a beautiful scenic route from the bustling City Centre to Simon’s Town and back again.

GUILD Design Fair 2014

Our World Design Capital is truly being spoilt with creative events this month and the one I have really been looking forward to the GUILD Design Fair at the V&A Waterfront’s Lookout venue this weekend.

From sculptural furniture to puppetry and historical artefacts, there is something for everyone at this visual and artistic fest of note.

Ommiberg Round the Rock Festival

A few of my favourite things, wine, family time and  live music, come together for the tasty Ommiberg Round the Rock Festival at the impressive Nederburg Wine Estate in Paarl this Saturday.

Rock out with the live bands; enjoy some grape stomping and more while sipping on Nederburg’s fine wines.
