World Family Day – four lucky families get to live it and love it!

Cape Town Tourism’s Team South celebrated World Family Day on May 15 and 16 by running a competition through the Visitor Information Centres at Kirstenbosch, Hout Bay, Gugulethu, Langa, Muizenberg and Simon’s Town.

We invited local residents, via our community newspapers, to drop in to their nearest Visitor Information Centre to enter the competition. Many of them had never been to one of our Visitor Information Centres before, so it was a good way of introducing them to Cape Town Tourism.

It also gave them the chance to win some lovely family-friendly prizes. Cape Town Tourism thanks the following members for their participation: The Boat House, Simon’s Town; Cape Point Ostrich Farm, Mineral World (Scratch Patch); Seaforth Restaurant, Circe Launches; World of Birds; Mariners Wharf Restaurant; Blue Water Café at Imhoff Farm; Silvertree Restaurant and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

Four lucky families will be living it and loving it over the next few weekends, and falling in love with their city all over again!
