“Why Cape Town is cool in winter” prize handover

The winner of the “Why Cape Town is cool in winter” Twitter and Facebook competition, Edward Babb, received his prize – an Acer notebook – at the Cape Town Tourism offices in the city centre last Wednesday.
Edward impressed the judges with his poetic entry despite the 140 character limit:
“Mist plays on mntn peaks, cool sea spray flecks my cheeks, billowed clouds & azure light, Cape Town in winter, whattasight.”
Edward said, “Hoorah! Poetry pays! I’ve realised now that I’ve won a notebook I’m obliged to write more…”
