Where Would You Rather Be Wednesdays in Cape Town: Fans’ Suggestions

Brunch in Camps Bay is what Alicia Haskell would rather be doing in Cape Town this Wednesday. Photo courtesy of Bertrand Duperrin

I’ve got to say, Mother City lovers, you guys and girls sure know how to show this writer some love!

I am inspired by your responses to my Where Would You Rather be in Cape Town on Wednesdays question.

While I’m yearning for a spinach and feta lasagne at Richard’s Supper Stage&Bistro in Sea Point, you inspirational folk are wishing for the following:

“Brunch with some girlfriends in Camps Bay would be lovely and then shopping at the V&A Waterfront and then Canal Walk. Evening cocktails at the One&Only... Hmm.... Sounds like a lovely day! Miss Cape Town a lot!” - Alicia Haskell

Tanya Jansen would rather be walking along Muizenberg Beach with her dogs. Photo courtesy of OsamaSaeedDotOrg

“On Muizenberg Beach walking my dogs or at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden  strolling or hiking somewhere” - Tanya Jansen

A great hake and chips parcel at Kalk Bay's top fisheries Kalky's is what Nabu Matthews is wishing for today. Photo courtesy of wesleynitsckie

“My family and I are in Thailand for a year now. We miss going to Kalk Bay to Kalky’s and having that great snoek and hake platter. Don't get that fish here. And a good full house Steak sandwich from Fast and Furious. And a vienna parcel from Aneesa's. We miss home.” - Nabu Matthews

Twitter follower @CharmzG would rather be hanging out with the penguins at Boulders Beach this Wednesday. Photo courtesy of Cape Town Tourism

“At Boulders Beach - watching the penguins.” - Charmaine ‏@CharmzG

Now, your mission, should you choose to accept it (cue the Mission Impossible theme song) is to tell me Where You Would Rather be in Cape Town this Wednesday by doing the following:

- Channel your inner Mark Zuckerberg and be the Facebook master by posting your comments and original photos to the I ♥ Cape Town  fanpage.

- Show us some Twitter love by tagging @CapeTownTourism with #lovecapetown in your top suggestions.

- Go old school and drop me an email with your top places and images at fb@capetown.travel.
