Where Would You Rather Be Wednesdays: best beaches to visit

It’s my favourite day of the week, Mother City lovers, and that means I want to know Where You Would Rather Be in gorgeous Cape Town this Wednesday.

I’m dreaming of a morning shopping spree at the über-chic Cavendish Square in the Southern Suburbs, followed by lunch and a spa treatment at the impressive Vineyard Hotel and Spa in Newlands and a sunset stroll along Lagoon Beach in Milnerton to end off my perfect day.

It seems great minds think alike, as you Cape Town-adoring folk have a penchant for the beach life and cuisine, too:

“I feel very lucky that I live in the Deep South as they call it, I can visit Noordhoek, Kommetjie and Fish Hoek beaches so easily and they are all so beautiful.”  Shelley Pope

“At the Wilderness overlooking the beach eating fish and chips with friends!! Or doing the same thing at Maestro's in Milnerton.”   Heather Webber
