UCT has Sax Appeal in the Mother City

The University of Cape Town (UCT)'s annual Sax Appeal magazine showcases some of the best South African writers and satirists, and introduces readers to some fresh talent from the students too. Sales of the magazine go towards UCT's SHAWCO, an organisation set up to improve the quality of life of previously disadvantaged individuals in developing communities within the Cape Town metropolitan area. This morning, UCT students were out and about selling the 2013 edition of Sax Appeal in Cape Town and its surrounding suburbs. Standing on street corners and intersections in a variety of wacky outfits, they made for an interesting sight for Cape Town's morning commuters. Check out some of the pictures from Twitter earlier:
