The long, lazy days of summer are upon us, which means endless hours of sun-worshipping on any one of Cape Town’s top beaches.

Luckily, there are a number of great beachside spots where days can easily melt into balmy evenings – with the added bonus of not requiring you to change out of your beach gear

Located on a private stretch of beach near the V&A Waterfront, The Grand Café and Beach is one of Cape Town’s trendiest spots to see and be seen. Lounge on comfy chairs with your toes in the sand as you sip on a refreshing drink from the beach bar or nibble on tasty fusion dishes from the bistro-style menu.
