Andre says, “This pic was shot from Table View Beach, Blaauwberg. I was waiting for a nice wave to crash onto the rocks to get a sort of ‘stormy’ atmosphere with a black and white effect in mind.”

Enter the My Cape Town photo competition

Cape Town Tourism invites photographers to enter the My Cape Town photo competition.

Submit your best photographs of Cape Town to the Cape Town. Live it. Love it. Flickr group and tag them “mycapetown2010”. Entries must be submitted before September 30, 2010.

The prize is R10 000 cash, plus a four-day hiking expedition on the Hoerikwaggo Trail (including accommodation) for the winning photographer and up to 11 friends.
