The Good Food & Wine Show Brings Culinary Delights to Cape Town

The clinking of glasses and the aroma of mouth-watering dishes will create a deliciously festive atmosphere when the Good Food & Wine Shows opens at the Cape Town International Convention Centre on Thursday May 26, 2011.
Now in its 12th year, this gastronomic extravaganza features a star-studded line-up of local and international chefs and stalls laden with the most unbelievable treats, guaranteed to keep you salivating.
This is your chance to see your favourite culinary experts in action! From award-winning Heston Blumenthal, who has delighted foodies all over the world with his classic snail porridge, to rubbing shoulders with gourmet extraordinaire James Martin and picking up some tasty tips at the
Samsung Chefs in Action Theatre, you’ll be entertained for hours.
Other foodie geniuses who will be featured at the show include Evita Bezuidenhout, George Jardine, Katy Ashworth and many more.
Pop into the Wine Theatre for a “tour” of the Cape Winelands and the chance to sip on some of the best vinos in the world. You will also learn how to choose the perfect blend for that special occasion.
Chocolate addicts can indulge to their hearts’ content at the Lindt Chocolate Theatre while braai enthusiasts can hone their talents at the Amarula Outdoor Experience.
Bring your little ones along too because the show has catered for them with the CBeebies Good Food for Kids Zone which will have them enjoying healthy eating in no time. There are also fun art classes and workshops presented by Kidazzle and Tots-n-Pot.
