The Brasserie at Vaudeville: Cheeky fantasy, food and fun

For a salacious glimpse behind the velvet curtain of Vaudeville, the entertainment venue in the City Centre, spend an evening at its recently opened eatery, The Brasserie.
Feather boas, body painting and cheekily-dressed waitrons are par for the course for this racy establishment. The Parisan decor, complete with snug, upholstered booths and dangling birdcages, creates a risqué ambience for the restaurant.
Dressing up for a night at The Brasserie is encouraged… after all, you are attending a show like no other. So embrace your inner performer with braces, ruffles and corsets. If, however, you’re fresh out of these flamboyant items, the cute costume stand, The Little Hattery, is fully stocked with masks, hats and boas to assist in your transformation from drab and dreary to sexy and fabulous.
The acts are edgy, entertaining and quite pleasing to the eye. Performed continuously throughout the evening, both onstage and between the tables, the entertainment comes at a surcharge, but is worth the price.
From violin-playing acrobats and fire eaters to stilt walkers with abs to make you swoon and beautiful singers with big voices serenading you with everything from opera to jazz songs, a pleasurable time is guaranteed.
The à la carte menu is a sinful gastronomic adventure. Whether you are sighing with pleasure at the delicious wine selection or having a mind-blowing taste sensation experience thanks to the irresistible Lindt Chocolate Pot, you’re in for a naughty treat.
The succulent fillet of beef with a tangy Béarnaise sauce is appetising, as is the grilled fish with crushed new potatoes and balsamic tomatoes. These are just a few of the items on the menu, designed to make you beg for more.
And to tempt you even further, entry to Vaudeville’s sensational nightclub, The Fez, is included in your entertainment surcharge. With a DJ spinning the latest hits, a dance floor to get your groove on and a well stocked bar, your night of pleasure carries on until dawn.
