The “light” side of Cape Town – A Cape Town Tourism photo essay
With a passion for travel, tourism and social media, Cape Town is the quintessential backdrop for Media Developer Leon Jamarie and his cape adventures.
With the City as his canvass Leon paints the town red covering a range of events and activities in the peninsular while staying true to the traditional culture the mother city offers it’s children,
Originally from Durban, Leon is still an accidental tourist in the city he now calls home and as such is on the line between resident and local tourist able to provide inside knowledge and flavour to the average mundane travel blog.
He is always on the look out for that hidden gem or typical CT party. If it’s fun, relevant, he will cover it.
As Autumn takes over Cape Town, the days are becoming shorter and the nights longer. This means one gets to appreciate the mesmerising light show that the Mother City bestows upon its children at an earlier time in the evenings.
The use of light is an integral tool in photography with the use of sun rays and silhouettes determining if an image is ordinary and elevating it to spectacular.
