Tens rugby stars, Bob Skinstad and Robbie Fleck – Flickr pic of the day
This image of two local rugby heroes, Bob Skinstad and Robbie Fleck, forms part of our Cape Town. Live it. Love it. Flickr group pool. It was taken during a recent tour of 10 of Cape Town’s attractions, in the build-up to the first-ever Cape Town Tens rugby tournament.
“The tour was the perfect build-up to this weekend’s Cape Town Tens, as it was able to showcase to the media and our guests just why Cape Town is the premier destination in the world,” says Skinstad.
“At the same time, it got me even more excited for this weekend. The guys have started arriving in the city already and the build-up to the first-ever Cape Town Tens has well and truly begun!”
The tournament, which will be hosted by Skinstad and Fleck and attended by the tournament ambassador, All Blacks star Dan Carter, runs this weekend from February 6 to 8.
“Fleckie and I have played social rugby all over the world – and we love it. Now, we have a chance to reciprocate and play host to all the wonderful characters and legends of the game that we have had so many good times with,” continues Skinstad.
Tickets are on sale at Vida e Caffé branches in Camps Bay, Green Point and Kloof Street at just R15.00 for students and R30.00 for adults, per day. Free entrance for kids under 12. VIP hospitality is also available, at R200.00 per person for the entire weekend.
