Take a photo of our Facebook man in Cape Town and win big!

Take a photo of our Facebook Man in and around Cape Town and you could win a R2 000 V&A Waterfront Voucher.

Mother City fans, your opportunity to win an R2 000 V&A Waterfront shopping voucher is here!

To enter, all you have to do is snap a pic of our Facebook Man in and around Cape Town this week, from Monday to Sunday, December 3 to 9, 2012, send your image to fb@capetown.travel or tag @CapeTownTourism on Twitter with the #wheresyourprofileat by Monday, December 10, 2012.

So, why the Facebook Man, we hear you ask? Quite simple really….  With just three weeks (yes, three!) until the end of our My Cape Town Holiday.com campaign on Facebook, we want to turn up the volume on the campaign through a number of activations in and around the city.

The Facebook Man will interact with crowds at some of Cape Town’s most popular attractions and festive season events.

He will pop up at places like the Baxter Theatre in Rondebosch, at an Old Mutual Summer Sunset Concert at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, the Earth Fair Food Market in the CBD and at the spectacular seaside destination V&A Waterfront for a very special performance.

Think of it as our own version of Where’s Wally… Where he’ll be next, no one knows!

Old Mutual Summer Sunset Concert goers received quite an eyeful of our Facebook Man as he jived to the awesome tunes of award-winning South African band, Mango Groove on Sunday December 2, 2012:

Now, it’s your turn! Get trigger happy and start snapping away! Remember, there is an unbelievable R2 000 V&A Waterfront shopping voucher up for grabs, and just in time for Christmas too.

To paraphrase the legendary Clint Eastwood as Dirty Harry, “ Still feeling lucky, punk?” Play the www.mycapetownholiday.com game on Facebook and you could win a five-day all-inclusive trip for you and a friend to the Mother City.
