Surfing in Cape Town – A Cape Town Tourism photo essay

With so many beaches to choose from, surfing in Cape Town is a very popular pastime – and a way of life for some.

We were at Noordhoek looking for interesting photo opportunities when we came across these guys having a ball in brilliant surfing conditions.

This picture was at about midday and low tide. There were loads of surfers taking full advantage of the conditions.

This chap was doing a spot of dry land kite surfing in the fresh southeaster.

“Please, boss, let me come with you. I’ll stay on the board, I promise! Please, please!”
