Sunset over Hout Bay– Cape Town Tourism Flickr pic of the day
Hout Bay, a suburb of Cape Town, feels more like a distinct little coastal town, and the residents definitely encourage this “vibe”. The bay is protected by the curve of the mountain range, and it has its own harbour and swimming beach.
“Cape Town is unique. One day it’s the sharp light that fascinates me, next day it‘s the city’s proximity to nature. There’s no place like it, and every flight back means coming home,” says Elodie, who lives in Germany.
“I love the fresh air in the morning (the one that fools you into believing the rest of the day will stay cool) , the sea breeze, and the turn of clouds that often catches you by surprise. There’s breathtaking beauty wherever a camera lens turns. It’s a photographer’s paradise, simple as that,” she continues.
