Sunset flight – A Cape Town Tourism photo essay

Our Cape Town. Live it. Love it. group member jtresfon took a sunset flight and shares his images with us.

Says Jean, “The pre-frontal clouds of an approaching cold front drifted over Table Mountain from the west, creating a spectacular sunset display. Flying from Morningstar Airfield in Magni Gyrocopters, we followed the coast from Blouberg to the Waterfront, then on to Camps Bay before turning back. There were people lining the promenade as well as the road at Oudekraal and we made several passes to see what everyone was looking at before we realised it was just the glory of the sunset display. The next morning I woke up to pouring rain as the front had arrived.”
