There are few things more beautiful in Cape Town than watching a beautiful sunset from our wonder of Nature, Table Mountain … and this summer, you can experience it all for less with Table Mountain Aerial Cableway’s fantastic Sunset Special.

Running from November 1 to December 20 2013, and from January 6 until February 28 2014, this fabulous deal sees the Mother City’s beloved local residents and visitors receiving a knock out discount on return tickets up our impressive mountain. Speak to me in Rands, I hear you say?  In plain English, this means you pay half-price on return tickets (that’s R 102.50 for adults and R 50 for children).

As a child of #lovecapetown, a trip on the amazing 360 degree revolving  cable car is one of my favourite things to do but having experienced a sunset from the top at the Next 48 Hours’ launch of the special on Monday 4 November, 2013 , I can now say it’s my all time favourite summer activity.

If the breathtaking colour palette of the sunset isn’t enough to convince you to treat yourself and your loved ones to book your tickets, then the sight of the Cape Town brightly lit from the cable car on the way down, just after dark should be:

Tickets for the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway tickets can be purchased from their ticket office from 18h00 each summer evening. For more information, please visit www.tablemountain.net.
