Sunny Cove – Flickr pic of the day
Claire says, “I took this photograph at Sunny Cove, just after Fish Hoek beach, on one of those typical sunny Cape Town days. I love this particular spot for its warm(er) water, fantastic views and the warm, down-to-earth people.
“I’ve lived in Cape Town my whole life and although I haven’t travelled much, I can honestly say that it is one of the most spectacular places on the planet. With so many things to do, places to see and people to meet, one can get caught up in its splendour and never want to leave this little city on the bottom tip of Africa,” she continues.
At Sunny Cove you will find interpretive signage on the southern right and humpback whales. You can take the Jager’s Walk pathway along the rocky coastline, which will take you all the way to Fish Hoek’s magnificent beach, where you can swim, snorkel, sail Hobie Cats and paddle-ski.
Do you have images of Cape Town you’d like to share with us? We’d love you to join the Cape Town. Live it. Love it. Flickr group!
