Strand Summer – A Cape Town Tourism photo essay

Sunsets, skylines and summer romance... Our Cape Town. Live it. Love it. group member Dawie Malan shares his images of a Strand summer with us.

The fence at the end of Melkbay Beach marks the start of a bird breeding reserve. The fence is also used to protect the Somchem explosives manufacturing site.

This couple made the most of a romantic sunset over Gordon's Bay, even though the South-easter was sandblasting their legs.

The Strand skyline is reflected off the pristine Melkbay Beach.

Another view of the Strand skyline, viewed from my home just below Sir Lowry's Pass.
