Stingray rescue – Flickr pic of the day
This photograph was taken on Muizenberg Beach by our Cape Town. Live it. Love it. group member picaddict.
According to Renate (picaddict) the stingray was caught in a fishing and the man in the photo is rescuing it. “It was always very interesting to watch the fishermen pulling in their nets on Muizenberg Beach but I also felt sorry for the Stingrays suffering on the sand”, she said.
“I was really touched that the fisherman tried to safe these fish. I also spoke to him and he told me the fishes would have a good chance to survive.”
