Seagulls flock in Hout Bay – Flickr pic of the day
Hirohiko says, “The sun was shining beautifully at midday on a Saturday. I was walking around Hout Bay Harbour and the seagulls were flocking. It was just an ordinary day, but I managed to catch this moment when it came quite unexpectedly.
“Hout Bay is sometimes called the Heart of the Cape, located halfway between Cape Town and Cape Point. It’s a popular seaside resort town with a unique location – at the start of the Atlantic Seaboard and Chapman’s Peak Drive. A boat to Seal Island also runs regularly from the harbour.”
