Reflecting the city – Flickr pic of the day
Sean says, “I’m a Johannesburg-based amateur photographer who works for a Cape Town-based software development company. I am therefore lucky enough to visit Cape Town on a monthly basis, and on every trip I make sure I have my camera packed. Cape Town offers such a wealth of photographic opportunites due to the diverse cultures, interesting architecture, and breathtaking scenery. I always make the time after work hours to go out and get some interesting photos.
“This particular photo was taken in Long Street. I saw this guy sitting at the table behind the window, and thought it would be an interesting shot. I always prefer natural, unobtrusive photos, so I casually walked past the window pretending to be playing with my camera, while actually taking some sneaky shots. It turned out pretty well,” he continues.
Long Street has a wonderful energy and it’s Cape Town’s best spot for a big night out on the town.
Do you have images of Cape Town you’d like to share with us? We’d love you to join the Cape Town. Live it. Love it. Flickr group!
