Peeping Tom – Flickr pic of the day
With a passion for travel, tourism and social media, Cape Town is the quintessential backdrop for Media Developer Leon Jamarie and his cape adventures.
With the City as his canvass Leon paints the town red covering a range of events and activities in the peninsular while staying true to the traditional culture the mother city offers it’s children,
Originally from Durban, Leon is still an accidental tourist in the city he now calls home and as such is on the line between resident and local tourist able to provide inside knowledge and flavour to the average mundane travel blog.
He is always on the look out for that hidden gem or typical CT party. If it’s fun, relevant, he will cover it.
Says Fawaaz (fawaaz|photography), "Strolling around the V&A Waterfront, waiting for my parents to come out of stores that I had no interest in, I came across this little mini display of houses and gardens. It was so colorful and well done that one could think they were real! The little white wooden fence provided me with a great framing opportunity, as I stuck my lens up close in between them, only enough for it to fill my frame, and getting a normal eye-level a human being of relative size to those houses would see; hence the Peeping Tom!"
