Ode to My Cape Town wins video competition
The winners of the My Cape Town Video Competition have been announced. Congratulations to Cat Pritchard and Charlton Cleophas, who captured the essence of the Mother City in their enthusiastically and sincerely presented video entitled Ode to My Cape Town.
The competition invited aspirant moviemakers to get out and about as tourists in their own city and capture their experience in video format. Cat and Charlton’s 42-second mini-movie was chosen by Cape Town as the best entry.
The prizewinners will be receiving R15 000 cash, as well as a contract to produce video clips of Cape Town’s Big Six locations for use on the Cape Town Tourism website. We look forward to posting much more movie magic from the winning duo soon.
