Nickelback is coming to #LoveCapeTown
Fazielah Williams has lived in and loved her Mother City since birth. Having lived all over the Peninsula during her childhood, she now calls the picturesque City Bowl home and likes nothing more than watching the sun set over Table Bay from the window of her apartment.
A lover of the arts and proud Cape Town fanatic, Fazielah began her writing career by spending many hours as a child conjuring fantastical stories that featured independent heroines from faraway lands who saved the Prince instead. This Capetonian princess has enjoyed stints as a magical arts PRO and TV publicist before finding her calling as a travel writer.
When not waxing lyrical about the Fairest Cape’s most loved attractions and activities and embarking on unexpected adventures, Fazielah can usually be found taking in a show at one of the City’s fabulous theatres.
Now, comes the news that the iconic Canadian rock band Nickelback will be making their Mother City debut at the Grand West Casino and Entertainment World’s Grand Arena on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 December, 2013!
The award-winning band, famous for chart-toppers including “ How You Remind Me” , “ Photography” , “ Faraway” and more, will bring the Grand Arena house down with their “The Hits Tour”.
Formed in 1995, Nickelback is composed of lead guitarist and lead vocalist Chad Kroeger, rhythm guitarist, keyboardist and backing vocalist Ryan Peake, bassist Mike Kroeger, and drummer Daniel Adair. Since then, they’ve have been trailblazers in the music industry, having sold more than 50 million albums worldwide and being nominated for the 2003 Grammy Record of the Year.
This tour is a lead-up to their planned release of a Greatest Hits album later this year with a new album set to be released in 2014.
